Highlights for 2008

Thank you for visiting our site! Registration for our adult classes will begin March 1st, 2008. If you are seeking pre-season help with your golf game, please visit us at our Wayzata Bay Studio. It is a terrific location to polish your fundamentals and brush up on the short game. We will be in Wayzata until the end of April and will commence our season at the University of Minnesota Golf Course May 1st.

Half Day Adult Golf Classes

  • The Short Game Simplified with Gerald McCullagh & Dee Forsberg. The short game is the great equalizer in golf. Learn techniques on and around the green that will maximize your scoring potential!
  • 101 Golf School: For The Beginning Golfer with Dee Forsberg. Consider this class to be the “quick start guide” for new golfers.
  • 201 Golf School: The Fundamentals with Dee Forsberg. Spend an afternoon with us and get the fundamentals you need to jump start your game for the new season.

Swing Motion Analysis

  • With private lessons allow us to compare your swing to the pros with our motion analysis software from JC Video and V1 Digital Video which allows us to capture, compare and analyze your swing. Our professional swing library is one of the largest in the Midwest.

Complimentary Golf Clinics for women and juniors

  • Check our 2008 schedule for fun and informative clinics throughout the season for women and juniors.

Question: How long will it take to register online?

Answer: The first time you register online with us the process should take 5-10 minutes. This is because you will need to create a username and password and provide your Credit Card information to Google Checkout. However, on subsequent visits to The Golf Institute, you can simply log-in and register. The process should take no more than 2 minutes.

Question: Why do I need provide my email address and create an account to register for a class?

Answer: The Golf Institute will use your email address to communicate with you directly about the classes and lessons that you sign-up for. By creating an account you will be able to log-in to your account to view your upcoming lessons and manage your schedule.

Question: What is Google Checkout? Is it secure?

Answer: Google is an industry leader in Internet applications and we believe it will provide our customers a convenient way to sign-up for golf instruction

  • With Google Checkout, you can quickly and easily buy from The Golf Institute and many other stores across the web.
  • If you’ve used Google Checkout before, all you need to do is provide your Checkout username and password to buy from us.

Question: What information do I need to provide to register online?

Answer: You will need to create a user name and password to create an account. In addition you will be asked to provide you name, address, telephone number, and email address.
